There are only two figured initials.

1. Prol. Jerome in cowl writing. Gold ground. Monkey with fiddle, and owl, in the stalk of the letter.

2. Genesis. Seven elliptical pictures on gold grounds. The Days of Creation.
1. Christ beardless standing on earth, cloud above. 2. dividing waters from waters. 3. touching a tree. 4. pointing up to Sun and Moon. 5. a group of birds, two swans diving their heads into water form the centre. Fish below: the Divine Hand at top. 6. Creation of Eve. 7. Christ with book blessing. At the base of the letters the Crucifixion with the Virgin and St John, on gold ground.
