Part of the Gale collection, given to T.C.C. by Roger Gale in 1738. Marked C. 17. No. 148.

The three flyleaves at the beginning are fragments of an account roll of cent. xiv, xv. On one side, well written, are portions of an Irish rental. Among the names that occur are

The flyleaves at end are a leaf of a xivth cent. MS. of the Decretals in double columns.
This copy of the Gesta corresponds in its commencement with Magd. Oxford 13, and in its ending with Harl. 2270. It is not noticed in Oesterley's edition of the Gesta (1872).
