It is not far removed in date from the other Ely book (O.2.1), but seems if anything slightly earlier. For the text of this MS. and O.2.1, see D. J. Stewart's edn. of the Historia Eliensis, printed for the Angliana Christiana Society 1848, and also N. E. S. Hamilton Inquisitio Comit. Cantabr.

A note of anniversaries of Robertus Hundred, Barthol. de Bradfelde etc. to be celebrated by the two junior monks who are in priests' orders.

1. Kalendar in red, green, and black, with rather copious notes of the rise of constellations, and comparatively few feasts.
Thus in Jan. the only church days noted are Circumcision, Epiphany, and Conversion of St Paul.

The hand changes about p.145 and again on p.157.
The last privilege recorded is a letter of Eugenius to Gilbert Bp of Hereford.
On p.160 are xiv-xvth cent. copies of a privilege of Nigellus and the Papal confirmation by Honorius.
