Manuscript Summary

A medico-alchemical miscellany containing medical, chemical, culinary and cosmetic recipes in its first part (in French with English interjections), as well as some for artificial stones; and mostly medical and cosmetic recipes in the second (in French, English, Latin and Italian), a good number of them related to alchemy by merit of their methods or ingredients. The third, oldest and most varied part (written in Latin and English) further introduces artists’ recipes for colours.
