I. f.1 Harpocrationis Lexicon in Decem Rhetores
Headed in red Αρποκρατίων.
Ἄβαρις κύριον.
The MS. was collated by C. B. Scott for Dindorf's edition in 1852 from Ἄβαρις to Αἰγεῖον, from Νοθεῖα to Ὅτι οἱ ποιητοὶ παῖδες, the whole of the letter ψ, as well as a number of scattered articles. "The MS. is carefully written, but with many omissions: e.g. the words Αἰγεῖδαι, Νυμφαῖον, Οἷον, Ὅτι διαμαρτάνει, Ὀνήτωρ, Ὀργέων, Ὄρον, σκευ̑ος, Πυθαεία." Under ξηραλοιφεῖν and Ὁμηρίδαι etc. references to authors are omitted.
In 1897 Dr J. E. Sandys collated the letter Γ throughout, and examined all doubtful points in Β and Σ, on behalf of Dr Georg Wentzel of Gottingen.
Notes by Mr Scott and Dr Sandys are in this volume.
