Provenance

Given by Nevile. A mark of monastic provenance on the lower margin of f.1b [f.3v] is carefully erased. It is probably the copy mentioned in the Catalogue of Christ Church, Canterbury, Edwards, p.146. Ker (1964) rejects Canterbury. The erased inscription, revealed using UV light, reads 'Pro noua libraria london' per me Iohannem Lowe'
