The second of two volumes; volume I is B.11.31.. The foliation runs continuously between the two volumes.

Manuscript Summary This is the second of a two volume, 15th-century book of hours. It is bound in white vellum stamped with the arms of Anne of Austria (1601-1666), Queen consort of France It contains much fine illumination, of French execution, including many miniatures. Volume 1 is B.11.31.

44. f.131. Noel. The Nativity. The Father and cherubs above. On the roof of the stable is a cross of two sticks. Joseph is present.
45. f.132. Circumcision. On an altar in a vaulted church. Three men hold the Child: two others are present. The Father above.
46. f.133. Passion. Nailing to the Cross. The arms and legs stretched with ropes. In front is a smith forging nails on a stone anvil. A man on a rock on R. with back turned is praying ?
47. f.134. Pasques. Christ steps out of the tomb, with cross and banner. There are three guards. The stone is across the top of the tomb. The three crosses are seen in the background.
48. f.135. Ascencion. The Ascension: the Virgin bareheaded.
